32" Resistance Bands

32" Resistance Bands

Please note these bands were designed for for those who are under 5'10" (or 70") and are looking for an alternative to the longer 41" resistance bands.

Additionally, these bands are great providing tension earlier in the movement due to the shorter length, making them great for smaller individuals or those who find that they do not have enough resistance or too much slack at the beginning of a movement.

These bands are NOT recommended for pull up training. Please use the 41" bands.

Note: These bands are not designed for pull-up training. Please see our 41" band listings.

32" BAND TENSIONS FOR FOOTPLATES (lbs per inch)

To use this table, start by measuring how far the band stretches — this is the difference between the starting and ending positions. For example, if the band starts at 6" (point of first tension for double layer 32" bands) and ends at 34", it has stretched 28". Multiply that stretch distance (28") by the band's pounds-per-inch (PPI) rating to calculate the tension. If there’s no stretch, there’s no tension.

For example, if you're deadlifting with a 32" #3 band that is doubled under a footplate and has a PPI rating of 6.62, you would calculate the tension as:
6.62 × 28 = 185.36 lbs of tension.

6.62 × 28 = 185.36 lbs of tension.
